Alliance Authentic presents a source-preserved copy of the Elvis Presley Recorded Live On Stage In Memphis limited edition: 180-gram purple coloured vinyl, individually numbered from a pressing of just 2,000 copies, released as part of FTD's landmark 2025/2026 Elvis back catalogue reissue campaign.
This luxury quadruple vinyl set captures Elvis at a historic peak. Following the artistic triumph of his 1973 Stax sessions and the global reach of Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite, Elvis closed his 1974 tour in Memphis with a concert recording that hit #1 on the Country charts and featured "How Great Thou Art," earning him his third Grammy. This reissue goes far deeper: a previously unreleased mono "test run" of the full show, recorded live at the Richmond Coliseum days before the Memphis concert, reveals the raw, reverb-soaked energy Elvis brought to every stage. Five intimate studio tracks cut at RCA Hollywood on August 16, 1974, including three previously unreleased performances, offer a rare behind-the-scenes look at Elvis preparing songs for his upcoming Las Vegas engagement. A 20-page booklet of rare photos, unseen memorabilia, and new liner notes completes the package.
For collectors, an encapsulated copy of a numbered limited edition like this ensures the item you display, store, or eventually pass on remains exactly as it left the source: sealed in its original state, protected from the handling and environmental exposure that alter collectibles over time.
